We received the California Distinguished School Award for the second time in six years and the only school in Carlsbad USD in 2014!  Only 35 schools in San Diego received this award.

We qualified to apply for the CDSA based on the following results from the state testing in 2013:

DATA:   subgroup API gains of awesomeness:   students with disabilities = 19 point gain   •  English Learners = 70 point gain   •    socioeconomically disadvantaged students (SES) = 24 point gain   •    Hispanic or Latino = 18 point gain   •     white = 12 point gain    •   school wide gain = 8 points = API 910.
