Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/teacher Conferences take place in October and March of each school year.

The purpose of the parent-teacher conference is to strengthen the partnership between home and school so your student can be a successful learner.  You will get an update on how your student is progressing.

  • Here are some good questions to ask during the conference:
  • What are my child's strongest and weakest subjects?
  • How can I help my child at home?
  • Does my child finish the work assigned?
  • Is my child working to his or her ability?
  • Does my child work cooperatively with others?

After the conference, be sure to praise your child for their hard work and use the opportunity to prioritize their school life.  Continue to support your student and the teacher by reinforcing the importance of school.  You can communicate with your child's teacher outside of the conference times as needed.
